Telenor Celebrates 150 Years
Telenor, one of Europes largest telecommunications companies, is celebrating its 150 years. This event is also being cele- brated in Pakistan, where Telenor started its operations on 15 March 2005.

The celebration is a commemoration of Telenors history of providing innovative and cutting-edge technology in the telecommunications field as well as a positive nod to an inspiring future.
According to Tore Johnsen, CEO Telenor, Pakistan is an important country for Telenor where it is committed in serving the Pakistani mobile phone users with determination and vigor. Telenor Pakistan believes in providing service excellence and that its users should continue to expect a lot more from Telenor by way of innovative products.
Having started its operations in 1855 from Norway, Telenor today is spread across 17 countries around the world and is already serving more than 67 million people worldwide.
