Members of the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) discussed the impact of the Internet outage caused by a fault in the under sea cable due to the damage to the SEAMEWE-3 cable link, that took place on June 27 and was restored on July 8, 2005, The members also considered the measures to implement and to recommend to the government of Pakistan to ensure that alternate arrangements are made so that data and voice circuits are not effected in case of similar accident.
