Computer Associates Starts Business Activity in Pakistan
Karachi, 6 April 2005: Computer Associates, one of the world’s leading management software companies, with presence in more than 100 countries plans to be more active in Pakistan.


The US based software giant, which has annual revenue of over US$ 3.2 billion, started its activities in the country with two events taking place in Karachi on April 5, 2005.

Saeid Marashi, Regional Channels Manager for the Arab countries who will oversee the Pakistan market was present at the briefing showcasing CA’s storage, enterprise and security management applications.

According to press release, CA plans to establish operations and recruit Pakistani nationals as part of its investments in the country. The company will provide a direct support line to handle customer support calls around the clock and plans to conduct extensive training programs to ensure a successful knowledge transfer.

“CA is coming to Pakistan with a clear commitment message. We believe we are in the right place and at the right time. Due to the conducive environment nurtured by the government of Pakistan the country has seen that the service and the IT sector expand. We are joining forces with our local partners and aggressively supporting all market segments including government, financial and oil & gas.” concluded Marashi.
