While introducing Asus product’s Mr. Richard Chen Manager Asia Pac- ific sales and marketing group also announced the opening of ASUS office in Pakistan. Badar Khushnood has been appointed channel representative - Pakistan based in Lahore. Zeeshan Saleem and Aamir Mehmood will look after the south and north area of Pakistan respectively.

Asus is known world wide as a leading producer of motherboards and graphic cards. The main feature introduced at the launch was Asus’s Motherboard ASUS A8N-SLI (a dual PCI-ex VGA capability with AMD 64bit technology) and the ASUS P5AD2 Premium (the only Intel 925X chipset with built-in dynamic overclocking & WiFi on-board).

For Gaming enthusiasts an array of new age VGA cards were on display, including the ASUS EN6600 GT (Nvidia PCI-ex VGA in SLI mode for extreme graphics & ultimate gaming) and ASUS EAX800 XT/256M (Ati PCI-ex VGA for graphics processing).
Another feature of the exhibit was ASUS WL-330g Pocket AP (World’s smallest pocket size wireless access point) and the ASUS WL-HDD (World’s only wireless hard disk for maximum mobility).

Asus also produces computer components, optical storage devices, desktop bare-bone systems, servers, notebooks and PDA’s.
